Clamping
This type of deep reach clamp has been used for ages by the boat builders and by woodworkers. It is easy to build, with less wood, less effort, strong and powerful enough for what you will ever need. If it's good enough for building boats then its probably good for you too.
A DIY Toggle Clamp as seen on Woodsmith PDF magazine 245. My dimensions may very slightly.
My concept design of some easy to build bar clamps using 3x3cm steel square tubing which gives more than enough clamping pressure for glue-ups.
My concept design of a pipe clamp tail vise with guiding rods and a rectangular vise dog.
An easy to build, inexpensive DIY table top Moxon vise. In my design I use 2x4 lumber (4.5X9.5cm) and it calls for a 60cm front vise length and a 75cm long for the back, I use 2X3/4(18mm) X25cm threaded rod, 8 nuts and 4 big washers.
The wooden parallel jaw bar clamp based on John Heisz's video as seen on Youtube. My design parts dimensions may very from the original. (Design is not for sale -Video Link Below)
A very ergonomic clamping square design for all purposes.
A Way better option IMO than those metal ones sold in home centers
