Drill Press
A very simple to build high-low double side fence drill press table with clamping holes
Homemade drill press with dust collection, elevating and 45° tilting table, drill depth stop, two extrusion profile aluminum fences horizontal and vertical. This design ensures steady and accurate drilling. Basically it can offer way more than you will ever expect from it.
My conceptual design on a drill press indexing perimetrical hole drilling jig. Using a 48 or 24 teeth TS blade you can index 12-8-6-4-3 holes in a circle.
My design concept on the ultimate X-Y drill press table with lots of features. Based on the sled slide idea movement the X slides on a miter slot and the Y on the two side guides. Both directions have stop block facilities. I incorporate a split fence made of 20X40mm aluminum extrusion profile with two toggle clamps, a stop block, and a router style dust collection. Two t-tracks serve for clamping and a sacrificial drilling square. Two shallow bit drawers L & R hanging under the table.
This is a design using a 40x40mm aluminium extrusion profile as a fence on a drill press table. Two small toggle clamps act as general hold downs, with the option of-course to use long hold down clamps on its t-tracks. If your drill press permits it, the you may instead use a 40x80mm profile as a fence.
This is all you will ever need of a Drill Press Table. My double fence drill press table design addresses functions like: Two depth adjustable and interchangeable low or high sliding fences on t-tracks with stop blocks. Laminated table top with 4 rows of t-tracks for clamping on all its width. Two long metal hold down clamps. My all adjustable dust hose holder to keep your surface clean.
An even better concept on my drill press dust collector hose holder designs, using a long U-Bolt for clamping. The holder can be adjusted on all x y z axis.
